We are proud to announce the completion of a six month endeavor to create stellar business cards. Six months for business cards, really? No, not really. In addition to some epic business cards fashioned to look like a deck of cards, we made actual playing cards for you!
It all began with one of our favorite illustrators, Scott Benson. We approached Scott with our project in February. Soon after accepting the project, he blew us away with his mock-ups. After a few more weeks of design, tweaks, and refining, we were off to the printers.
Of course you can’t have an amazing design and then print with just anybody. So, we did our homework. We printed our business cards locally with Chicago-based printing company, HD Design & Printing (AMAZING). You want to see ’em? Just ask for one next time you see us around. For the playing cards, we wanted the print quality of the famous bicycle brand. We went with Quality Playing Cards (also AMAZING) for the large bulk order.
What’s your favorite house: The Mariners, Royals, Bandits, or Knights? These poker-size (2.5″x3.5″) playing cards are printed on high quality, plastic-coated, linen playing card stock and encased in a custom tuck box. The deck includes 54 uniquely illustrated cards (two through Ace – – along with two Jokers). The design on the back features a Belgian horse’s head and a crest adorned by flowered vines.
We are still accepting pre-orders on these babies so check them out in our online Shop. Later this summer, get ready for our 2012 reel featuring music by one of our favorite composers, Man Mantis! Cheers!
